About Deniz

Deniz Paran is a London-based visual artist who investigates genius loci, the spirit of the place, in the spatial emptiness of abandoned spaces and bleak modern landscapes, through the medium of prints.

She has exhibited with Made in Arts London at Christie’s Multiplied art fair, the London Illustration Fair at the Barge House Oxo Tower, and Capsule at Embassy Tea gallery.

She worked with musician David Toop on the collaborative project ‘Relocating Vision in an Auditory Landscape’. This has included an inspirational recording session in the former industrial zone of Wapping in London, and performances at the Whitechapel gallery for Music for Museums,  Mieko Shiomi’s  'Boundary Music’, and at the London contemporary music festival for David Toop’s ‘Many Private Concerts’.

She studied MA visual arts Illustration at Camberwell college of art.
